Breaking: Former Benue governor, Suswam arrested by EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Monday, arrested a former Benue state governor, Gabriel Suswan, over alleged corruption during his tenure as governor.
The Nigerian Times had reported that Suswam would be invited for interrogation on allegations of corruption on Monday, October 12.
He served as the Governor of Benue state between 2007 and May 2015.
He is being quizzed at the EFCC office in Abuja over alleged corruption during his time as the Governor of the state.
EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwajuren confirmed the news.
Recall that on Friday, the Commission grilled a former Benue State Commissioner for Finance, Omadachi Oklobia who served under Suswam.
The anti-graft agency had invited Oklobia, who served under Mr. Gabriel Suswam, a former Benue State governor, to defend the allegations of diversion of public funds, abuse of office, embezzlement and fraud while he was in office.
Suswam is still being grilled as at the time of filling this report.
