The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Disciplinary Committee on Monday upheld the ban placed on Giwa FC by the League Management Company (LMC).
The LMC had earlier expelled Giwa fc, for the failure to honour three cumulative matches which breached rules of the Nigeria Professional Football league(NPFL).
Giwa’s failure to honour three home games against Wikki (MD14), Akwa Utd (MD16) and Enyimba (MD18) without any acceptable reason made the LMC expelled club for the league.
The management through its Twitter handle @LMCNPFL stated: The NFF Disciplinary Committee has upheld N10m fine on Giwa FC in line with NPFL Frame Work and Rules.
Giwa FC will also pay N650,000 as expenses for match officials as well as N1 million to Enyimba for expenses incurred for the Match Day 18 fixture.
